The questions people ask most about their data, their entries and how Happitag works.
Your entries are yours. Private entries are never shown to anyone but you. New entries are public by default — tick Keep this entry private when you write one to keep it to yourself, and you can change an entry's setting at any time.
Public entries are used to inspire other people, but never in their original form: each one is rewritten as a generic activity with names and identifying details stripped out.
A public entry becomes an activity card in the Explore feed — something like “morning walk in the park”, with tags such as coffee and walking. The text is rewritten so that names and other identifying details are removed, and your original words are never published.
Your profile avatar is shown alongside the activity, but nothing in the entry itself points back to your account.
Yes. Delete individual entries at any time, or delete your whole account from Profile → Delete My Account. Deleting your account removes it and its personal data immediately, except where we are legally required to retain specific records. See the Privacy Policy for details.
